City of Fremont Comprehensive Plan/Long Range Transportation Plan & Comprehensive Re-write of Unified Development Code RFP

Comprehensive Plan/Long Range Transportation Plan Summary: The City of Fremont, Nebraska (City) is seeking qualified consulting firms to submit proposals to update the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Long-Range Transportation Plan. The selected firm or team of firms will have demonstrated experience in areas, including but not limited to, comprehensive planning; transportation planning; land use planning; implementation strategies; zoning and subdivision policies and regulations, and; community visioning and public outreach techniques. The consultants will prepare and provide documents and associated services for the comprehensive plan and long-range transportation plan in accordance with the requirements described within this request for proposal and accompanying documentation.

Comprehensive Re-Write of UDC Summary: The City of Fremont is seeking planning consultant, consulting firm or team to clarify, simplify, reorganize, and update the City’s Unified Development Code (UDC), Chapter 11 of the City’s Municipal Code. The consultant(s) must have national knowledge of best practices in land use planning, urban design, land use law, community engagement, transportation planning and parking standards, as well as experience drafting subdivision and zoning ordinances in the State of Nebraska.

  • a submission deadline
  • a contact name and number. 

There is no charge for advertising RFPs/RFQs on the website or in APA Nebraska's electronic newsletter, where it will also be listed provided the submission deadline is prior to the issuance of the next newsletter.
