Student Planning Association of Nebraska (SPAN)

SPAN is the Planning Student Organization for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Master of Community and Regional Planning Degree Program. Their mission is to provide opportunities to planning students for mentorship, networking, professional development, and community building outside of the classroom. SPAN partners with the APA Nebraska Chapter on the execution of the Mentor Match Program, and they work with the Emerging Planners Group to create social and networking opportunities.  SPAN hosts regular workshops, forums, and site visits to give students a better understanding of the many opportunities that exist in the world of professional planning.
