APA Nebraska hosts an annual one-day workshop in the Fall to provide an opportunity for a deep-dive into one planning topic, project, or initiative. This workshop typically alternates between the Lincoln and Omaha metropolitan areas. Check this page later in the year for updates on the next Fall Workshop! Below are some details from past workshops.

The 2024 workshop highlighted the long-term vision and ongoing transformation of the Omaha-Council Bluffs metropolitan area Urban Core and the many planning, redevelopment, and quality-of-life improvement efforts at work. This workshop included a walking tour of the Omaha RiverFront including Gene Leahy Mall, Heartland of America Park, and Lewis and Clark Landing. It concluded with a reception at the Hot Shops Art Center.
